I've recently completed a course for my English major, in which my classmates and I all contributed to blogs. We discussed literature, wrote our final papers, and learned about each other on these blogs. (Here's the central blog, run by my professor, Dr. Burton. I contributed to the fiction blog.)
And now you're asking, so what? Well basically, I've really enjoyed having a place where I can openly discuss topics I enjoy. Now that the term is ending, I'm finding myself thinking but now where am I going to randomly talk about Fitzgerald whenever I want?
At which point it occurred to me. You could just start your own literature blog. What a novel concept! (Pun intended.)
So here it is. Let's talk about literature! And probably travel, and movies, and music too. And don't let me forget about art.
If you recognized my URL and blog title, congrats! They're both from Truman Capote's absolutely amazing Breakfast at Tiffany's, and I feel like they are both pretty representative of my current life. Maybe I'll discuss them in further depth later.
